  • Aromatic plant medicine: Essential oils

This one-day workshop is designed for learners with little to no experience using essential oils An emphasis will be placed on the use of aromatherapy in day-to-day living with a focus on 8 essential oils and 2 carrier oils used predominantly to support fighting bacteria and fungi, relieving stress, improving concentration, and alleviating insomnia. Attendees will also learn about using essential oils safely and how to customize their own blends.

  • Aromatic plant medicine to enhance meditation

This one-day workshop focuses on the use of aromatic plant medicine to enhance meditation practices. An emphasis will be placed on 5 essential oils used predominantly to support relaxation, clarity, and purifying and connecting with spirit. Attendees will also learn about using these essential oils safely and will customize a personal blend for their meditation practice. The customized blends will then be implemented during a meditation circle in nature. Dates and locations to be announced soon!

  • Aromatherapy for the garden

This half-day workshop will focus on bringing’ aromatherapy’ into your garden. You will be introduced to 4 essential oils that are not only effective against garden pests, but also bring additional benefits to your garden. You will also learn about companion plants and how they create a floral harmony in your garden. Oils will be provided to you so that you can learn to, and create your own signature blend to help keep garden pests at bay. There will be two offerings of this workshop; dates TBA.

  • Aromatherapy in nature, not in a bottle

This half-day workshop will give you the therapeutic benefits (e.g. stress and anxiety relief) of aromatherapy in its undistilled and natural form. Studies have shown that the many properties responsible for these therapeutic benefits are some of the major chemical constituents found in the leaves of trees and flowering plants which reside in our surrounding forests. While walking through the forest, you will be introduced to key trees and plants, and their signature healing properties. The workshop will leave you appreciating nature even more and likely feeling incredibly relaxed. Comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing,water, light snacks, journaling, and a lot of deep breathing will enhance the experience!
